I rode to Milwaukee with my HOG
Chapter, Kirkwood, MO. There were about 10 bikes that rode with the
group although we had over 90 that stayed in the hotel the chapter had booked
in Milwaukee.
I did not say with the group, however, because my wife is from Milwaukee
and her parents still live there. So I stayed with them....for free...:)
This is my bike all loaded up for the 400 mile ride.

When I got to Milwaukee, my brother-in-law
met me about 30 miles outside town and rode the rest of the way in with me.
That last leg was VERY cool. There were hundreds of bikes, and
as we rode closer to Milwaukee, people were standing on bridges over the
highway with signs that read "Welcome Home".
This is photo from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel showing that occuring.

When I met up with my brother-in-law,
we immediately went to visit a dealer party at House of Harley. This
is what the parking lot looked like when we pulled in...
They had streets blocked off, with vendors lined up down the middle of
the street.

The way we spent most of our time
was riding from dealer party to dealer party during the day, shopping vendors
and just hanging out. This is from Milwaukee Harley Davidson. The
big guy in the picture is our riding buddy from Milwaukee, Michael Schuster.
Michael is a Shriner and rides an UltraClassic.

We spent a lot of time looking at
bikes and ...ahem..."other" ...scenery. Like this awesome beer stand
at Milwaukee HD.

During the nights, we went downtown
to hang out on Water Street at a bar called Rosie's. It is a great
place and I recommend you check it out if you are ever in Milwaukee.
The owner of the bar is a guy named Darryl and he is friends with my brother-in-law
and Schuster. Therefore we got a little special access and got to hang out
on the roof, which provided a way to get out of the crowd and to get a birds
eye view.

Here is my wife and I on the roof
with 2 other friends of Schuster.

Since we were staying with the in-laws
we had to hang out with them a little bit. This is one morning when
we met for breakfast.
In the picture is me and Beckie with my Sportster, my brother-in-law Jason
with his Sportster, my in-laws Marty and Rosa, and my wifes grandmother,
"Grammy".

This is my wife and I set to go
down to the lake front to attend some of the rally events.

The final night we went to "The
Party", the big celebration at the parade grounds which included the kick-off
for the next 100 years and the "suprise" guest which turned out to be Elton
John (that was CRAP).
This is a group photo of all the gang we hung out with for the week. It
was a great time and a once in a lifetime party.
